I recently began a journaling exercise. At the end of the day I describe my feelings for the day in a song. I think some of the results are interesting – in many ways. Sometimes the songs have several different aspects to them but I cling to one particular theme that sticks with me more than the others. Sometimes I pick a song that states its ideas very clearly, but other times I pick a song that can have millions of interpretations. Sometimes I pick from the same genre for several days in a row. Anyway, I thought this might be of interest to others, so I’m posting a version here for now. I’m not going to share the dates, but these will remain in their original order. And I may cite lyrics as an important factor in my decision.<\/p>\n

So here’s a recent week in song.<\/p>\n
