For being part of a trilogy, it was long. I think there were parts that could&#8217;ve been condensed and it was confusing about how the characters in the beginning were relevant to the story once it got going. Those relationships were revealed much later than I would like, since it was distracting for me trying to figure it out along the way.<\/p>\n<p>The ending was only partly satisfying, which is to be expected of a book with a sequel. I&#8217;m not exactly sure if I&#8217;m going to continue the series.
