\u00a0I can&#8217;t believe I am starting my first cardigan. \u00a0It&#8217;s kind of overwhelming. \u00a0But here goes! \u00a0To see my project on Ravelry, click here:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ravel.me\/jen52\/stqx4\">http:\/\/ravel.me\/jen52\/stqx4<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have chosen to knit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicknits.com\/catalog\/cerisara.html\">Cerisera cardigan<\/a>,(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/cerisara\">Ravelry link here<\/a>) listed as &#8220;Advanced Beginner&#8221;. \u00a0It seems doable for someone at my skill level. \u00a0I want a nice cardigan that&#8217;s not too plain, but not too complicated, either. \u00a0This looks like it fits the bill. \u00a0\u00a0But after beginning it last night, I am hoping it&#8217;s not too advanced for me. \u00a0So far it&#8217;s been challenging but not too hard to figure out&#8230; let&#8217;s hope it stays that way.<\/p>\n<p>I am using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knitpicks.com\/yarns\/CotLin_DK_Yarn__D5420162.html\">Knit Picks CotLin<\/a> yarn in Cashew. \u00a0It&#8217;s a blend of cotton and linen, so I&#8217;m hoping it will make for a light fabric appropriate for all seasons and have a nice drape.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the initial pics &#8211; less than 24 hours in!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[album: http:\/\/jen.jllocke.com\/photo\/?currdir=\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/dm-albums\/First Cardigan\/]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yikes!
