{"id":41,"date":"2007-06-19T08:05:03","date_gmt":"2007-06-19T13:05:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jen.jllocke.com\/blog\/2007\/06\/19\/whats-the-point\/"},"modified":"2007-06-19T08:05:03","modified_gmt":"2007-06-19T13:05:03","slug":"whats-the-point","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jen.jllocke.com\/blog\/2007\/06\/whats-the-point\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s the point?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After reading <a href=\"http:\/\/lorelle.wordpress.com\/2007\/06\/04\/are-you-blogging-your-passion-or-blogging-to-blog\/\">this blog post about Blogging Your Passion<\/a>, I realize I should probably make some statement of intent.<\/p>\n<p>I suppose most people keep one of these for one reason in particular.\u00a0 This can involve keeping family and friends up to date, connecting with your professional associates, critiquing politics and society, promoting your business, making friends, and more.\u00a0 This blog is all that and more.\u00a0 I guess I want it to represent me more than anything and I am a multi-faceted person with diverse interests and I will write about any and all of those interests here.\u00a0 Some will be related to my profession or work, some will be highly personal.\u00a0 Some will be commentary on the world I see around me.\u00a0 Every day will be different and there will be no requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is a work in progress, just like each of our lives.\u00a0 When we reach the point of completion, we each exist only as memories in the minds of others.\u00a0 Let us hope we do not become complete too soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After reading this blog post about Blogging Your Passion, I realize I should probably make some statement of intent.
