I lose things sometimes.\u00a0 Not as much as I used to, but sometimes I do.\u00a0 I’m sure you do, too.\u00a0 But if you lose an electronic device (such as a notebook computer, MP3 player, cell phone, Palm Pilot, etc.) it may have some capabilities of notifying you of its location.<\/p>\n

Lost?\u00a0 Check out this article<\/a> or try to catch the rerun of Dateline on the topic.\u00a0 It seems our devices are even smarter than we originally thought.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Or maybe you don’t have an iPod and you just want to keep track of your laptop.\u00a0 Try LocatePC<\/a> by Iconico, Inc.\u00a0 If your PC is stolen (or lost, I assume), it will send you a confidential email when it is next connected to the Internet.<\/p>\n

Or maybe this is all a little too high-tech?\u00a0 Then try UnloseIt<\/a> where you can buy tags for $4.95 to place on your gadgets (or keys, if you’re prone to losing those) and you can connect with your items through the website after they are lost or stolen.\u00a0<\/p>\n
