There’s been so much going on! I’ve been working on knitting a couple projects that are promised to specific people.  After that I plan on resuming work on my cardigan… I’ve also recently got a new job as a Pet Nanny at Milwaukee Pet Nanny. And I’m volunteering at the Wisconsin Humane Society. So my life went from zero to 6,000 in a nanosecond.  Or something like that. Anyway, it’s gotten quite busy in my little world.

Right now I’m reading Sister Carrie by Theodore Dreiser. It was my pick for my book group to discuss in February and I’m just now getting close to being done. It seems like I’m having troubles getting through things that I start. Not good.

This past week was a train wreck for me. I tripped on a rock, falling and scraping up my hands and knee – as well as accumulating several nasty bruises.  I dropped a glass jar at my neighbor’s house. I slammed my finger in my car door. I twisted my ankle right outside my front door. Now I’m scabbed, bruised, and sore.
