Every once in a while, a new artist seeps into my consciousness little by little.  Emme Packer is the latest to make her way in.  Jerry introduced her to me a while ago when he listened to one of her songs on myspace.    She sings sweetly and writes her own music.  She plays guitar and earnestly works on her craft.  At least, this is how she seems to me.  Her most recent album, “Joy. The Machine.” she released on her own label.  And it’s got a beautiful song on it titled “Enigk”, probably about Jeremy Enigk and (I’m guessing) his influence as a songwriter.  I’m pretty sold on the CD, so I’m probably going to order it.  I encourage you to check out her website and her myspace.  Hope you enjoy!
