I mean the band Nirvana, not the Buddhist concept. I just finished watching a VH1 Classic show about the making of Nevermind. All I have to say is that I will never be able to forgive Kurt for his suicide. Never. But I can’t forgive people for anything, anyway. Kurt should never have left this Earth by his own hand. Look what’s happened to everyone around him since he died.
Take a look at this article and fantasize about what it would be like if her were alive.
There’s Courtney, all messed up on drugs and failing to be a responsible mother to Frances Bean. And then there’s Krist Novoselic, who I heard was making a difference in politics. Although, I hear he also runs this site. And poor Dave Grohl. It’s not that I don’t like the Foo Fighters, I just can’t help but think how much better Nirvana was than the Foo Fighters will ever be.
Oh, well. The past is over – at least Kurt left us a few CDs.
I liked the article about what if Kurt were still alive. Something tells me they are not the kind of band that would do a reunion. The way I see it, is that they would have had one more album in them and then it would have been over. The Foo Fighter would still be a band, but the music would be a bit different. Oh, and I agree, I don’t think that the Foo Fighter ever could be what Nirvana was. 🙂
