Since our old sweetie, Isaac, passed on recently, there has been an empty space in the house.  Being a regular PetSmart shopper, I often stop to look at the cats they have available for adoption.  Recently I saw this adorable orange tabby (yes, I have a soft spot for them) and asked to meet him.  He was such a sweetheart – he rolled around wanting a tummy rub and he wanted me to scratch his chin…  Needless to say, I fell in love.  So I filled out an application with the Sheboygan County Humane Society, the organization that works with this PetSmart to adopt out kitties.  In just a couple days, I heard the good news that we were approved.  I was expecting that because we adopted our most recent cat the very same way from the very same organization.

We brought home Ninja on Sunday and he’s already getting very comfortable.  He’s an explorer and I don’t think there’s an area of the house he hasn’t sniffed!  Persia, our other cat, is still getting used to him, but Ozzy (the dog) is making friends with Ninja already.
