Yikes! I can’t believe I am starting my first cardigan. It’s kind of overwhelming. But here goes! To see my project on Ravelry, click here: http://ravel.me/jen52/stqx4
I have chosen to knit the Cerisera cardigan,(Ravelry link here) listed as “Advanced Beginner”. It seems doable for someone at my skill level. I want a nice cardigan that’s not too plain, but not too complicated, either. This looks like it fits the bill. But after beginning it last night, I am hoping it’s not too advanced for me. So far it’s been challenging but not too hard to figure out… let’s hope it stays that way.
I am using Knit Picks CotLin yarn in Cashew. It’s a blend of cotton and linen, so I’m hoping it will make for a light fabric appropriate for all seasons and have a nice drape.
Here are the initial pics – less than 24 hours in!
