Gah! It’s been a crazy couple of months. I’ve been studying web development through Skillcrush and I’m in the middle of a Code Ninja class. They’ve both been great for learning how to do things the right way.

As you may know, I’ve been building sites since around 2000. I taught myself, so my code hasn’t always been the most organized or efficient. And I’ve moved away from coding my own stuff to using tools like WordPress. Though I hack my way through customizing the theme code.

And I need a career change. I need something other than customer service, administrative work, call centers, etc. That stuff kills me. I need something interesting and challenging. Hence, code. So I’m learning new things and how to do things I am already familiar with in a better way. Hence my scarcity on the blog. Here’s to getting back to studying!
